The location is incredibly convenient for sightseeing.

The room was uncomfortably tight, leaving little space to move around. I had difficulty navigating between the bed and the bathroom door every time I needed to use it. Additionally, the firm bed made it hard for me to get a good night's sleep, as my back was sore after multiple nights of discomfort.

Very well located! I loved the partial view of the cathedral from my room. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with lots of options. The staff allowed early check-in, which was super helpful. A quiet and comfortable stay.

The breakfast buffet featured an impressive selection of warm options, making each morning start deliciously.

Despite the request, the air conditioning could not be adjusted effectively, resulting in an uncomfortably warm room during my stay.

Breakfast was an absolute highlight with a wide variety of choices, including beautifully arranged charcuterie that tasted as good as it looked. Plus, the landmark view from our room made our stay truly special!

cityclass hotel alter markt has a fantastic location right near alter markt and very close to the dom. the comfort double room was spacious and very clean. the staff made our stay better by allowing us to leave our bags early. we truly enjoyed the nearby restaurants and bars.

the room was impossibly small, and can you believe there were no tea or coffee making facilities? I mean, who doesn’t have that? I also expected a room upgrade due to the inconvenience, but instead received mediocre treatment. lovely view doesn’t make up for the cramped space.

The air conditioning worked well, and the hotel had a lovely café with some of the best house-made cakes in the city. The central location made exploring Cologne easy, but the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a slight downside.

Lukas was attentive and thoughtful, gifting me a souvenir on my last evening. Daniel went above and beyond by helping me check on museum details. I also appreciated the lovely landmark view from my room, making my stay even more enjoyable.

It was just a good match for a brief pause in Cologne with exceptional value. The room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Make sure to explore the nearby restaurants after checking in.
